Always smiling and a great listener, Sherry is an amazing stylist who can accommodate your needs from hair design, customized cuts, hair color, dimensional color, eyebrow and facial waxing. Not one to rest on her achievements, Sherry’s goal is to never stop learning new techniques and philosophies so she can continue to grow for the next 20 years!

Helen has been in the beauty and fashion industry for 35 years. She has worked at Freestyle for 25 great years! Helen excels at specialized perms and loves to do color. Helen deeply enjoys helping people and chatting with her clients, who over the years have become friends. Always building her education and willing to learn, Helen is an all-around fantastic stylist.
Helen enjoys to bake and the baked goods she creates and decorates are amazing! She also enjoys gardening, and even riding her quad. Helen is a proud mother of 3 and a loving and fun grandmother of 7! Although, you would never guess it by looking at her!
Helen’s Life Philosophy: Do what you love. Always find passion in what you do so that work doesn’t feel like work, instead it is a continual source of fun and excitement.

Cyndi has been a hairstylist for 32 years. She has worked in the Newtown area for 18 years and loves her clients. Her close connection with clients and creating the perfect haircut with customized color are her favorite aspects of the beauty and fashion industry. Cyndi has studied and trained with Redken, Framesi and Wella and always enjoys learning the newest trends as well as updating and refining the classics.
Cyndi loves fashion and has passion and a keen eye for decorating. In her free time, Cyndi enjoys cooking baking, and gardening.

Donna has been a talented hairstylist, barber, make-up artist and licensed cosmetology instructor for over 20 years. Donna has been trained by Nick Arrojo, Martin Parsons, Aveda, Wella and many fascinating trips to New York to learn and master the latest and greatest fashion trends. As many people know, only barbers are licensed to use a straight edge razor on skin. Lucky for Freestyle, Donna is a licensed barber and specializes in clipper cuts, straight razor for men's hairlines, and razor hair cutting techniques to give her clients innovative and classic looks with a modern and personalized twist. Donna is great at precision cutting and polished looks. She is a multi-faceted and creative colorist. Just sit back and let Donna work her magic!
Donna enjoys education, the arts and fashion. She is a loving mother of 2. Donna enjoys giving back and mentoring students in the art and business of beauty.

Amanda has been a hairstylist for 10 years. She has been fascinated with the beauty and fashion industry all of her life. Amanda recently graduated from Temple University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and is always looking for new and exciting projects and learning opportunities. Throughout Amanda’s career she has trained with TIGI, DevaCurl, Wella, Redken, Martin Parsons and many more talented industry icons. Amanda specializes in texturizing thick hair, customized highlights, and short designer haircuts.
In Amanda’s free time, she spends time with her family,boyfriend,and friends. Creative projects are always on the agenda. She loves concerts, nature, and art.

***Lorraine***
Lorraine started her career as a hair stylist in 1967. She quickly proved herself as a young talent and continued to grow as a progressive and creative stylist. Lorraine has studied and trained with Martin Parsons, Beth Minardi, Wella International, L’Oreal Academy, Redken Exchange, TOI International, and Caring Touch as well traveled internationally to compete in hair and fashion shows. Today, Lorraine’s primary focus is on wigs, cranial prosthetics, hair extensions and hair color. Her extraordinary talent, professionalism, commitment to excellence and personal attention to detail has been recognized by industry professionals and her loyal clientele.
Lorraine’s Life Philosophy: Always strive to maintain a commitment to excellence. Always keep things in perspective and treat others how you want to be treated.

***Brittney***
Brittney is a graduate of Bucks County School of Beauty Culture. She is currently apprenticing with one of our top stylists, Donna, and advancing quickly. Brittney’s deepest passions lay in becoming an expert colorist and mastering the art of make-up application. She has already had a number of satisfied guests who have had the opportunity to experience Brittney’s make-up application skills. Her proactive attitude and hard drive are shown while participating in all of our educational classes we hold here at Freestyle.
Brittney’s Life Philosophy: It takes too much energy to frown, so put a smile on your face and it will eventually spread!
Brittney Loves Freestyle Because: From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I was home. I’ve gotten the tough love, the unconditional love and the sometimes hard truth which makes me excited to see how these experiences will help me grow.

***Melva***
Melva is the established and accomplished owner of Freestyle Salon and Day Spa as well as an educated, talented and intuitive massage therapist. Melva specializes in neuromuscular massage therapy, which is often used to treat a specific injury. Melva's deep understanding of the inter-workings of the muscles and body coupled with her intuitive ability to read the body, makes her an excellent and soothing massage therapist. She also specializes in reflexology and numerous new and classic techniques as she is constantly continuing her education and building her skill set to relieve physical and emotional stress of the body and mind.
In Melva's free time she enjoys the spice of life! Always physically active, Melva is an avid hiker, high-level skier, trains in Pilates and strength training as well as enjoying daily walks outside to enjoy the fresh air. Melva enjoys spending time with family and friends, fine dining, architecture and taking day trips with her husband to explore small, quaint, old towns. Melva is also a member of the Sycamore Street Community Association.

***Sheryl***
Sheryl has been a stylist and esthetician for 23 years. Over 12 years ago, Sheryl found a new calling and followed her heart to help people relieve pain and stress through massage. She absolutely loves to help people and considers her clients and guests as part of her extended family. Sheryl is trained in over 12 specialty massage practices, including but not limited to, Pregnancy Massage and Infant Massage, Severe Pain Relief, Cancer Relief, Immune and Muscular Disorders, and Autism Relaxation and Massage Therapy for children and adults with special needs.
Sheryl enjoys spending time with her two sons and her husband. She is an excellent cook, a great friend and an amazing massage therapist!

***Selena***
Selena is a talented esthetician and manicurist with over 8 years of experience. Selena has a strong personal foundation which drives her passion for education both in updated technology, skin and nail care and her pre-med studies at Temple University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2011. All of these factors intertwine to make your visit with Selena a truly positive and memorable one! Selena’s primary goal is to bring confidence, beauty and the best spa treatments available to all of our spa guests.
In Selena’s spare time, she studies and volunteers to explore different medical industries in effort to bring together her medical background with her esthetician background.
Selena’s Life Philosophy: Always do the best that you can and give of yourself how you would want to be treated.

***Caitlin***
Caitlin has been a Newtown native for almost 23 years and serving within the community for close to 10. She attended MBIT where she studied Cosmetology. Caitlin is currently studying for her Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science. Caitlin’s nurturing soul and positive outlook on life shine through as you see her interact with our beloved guests here at Freestyle.
Caitlin enjoys kayaking and hiking in her spare time and is an active volunteer for DNCR park service as well as the Newtown Historic Library.
Caitlin’s Life Philosophy: Live your life through love and kindness, send light to those who are in need, and let all of life’s enemies be turned into your teachers.
